How to Create a TSMC or UMC eCOA
This tutorial shows the process for generating TSMC or UMC eCOA's and applicable files. This process originates from JDE Asia but customer samples and processes are done in WHC (West Haven Connecticut) winLIMS site. The following shows the overall process.
The following are instructions specifically related to the part of the process of "Enter Delivery Date and iButton Temp Data" which is the second step of the process of the process flow shown above. This is normally done by the Asia team.
1. Login to winLIMS Americas QC
2. Make sure WHC site is selected
3. Open Sample Life Cycle>Samples>browse Samples
4. Select the specific query from the Favorite query button (yellow star):
5. A list of pending samples will show on screen. Select the ones you are looking for from the list by using the checkbox and click on the drill down button (magnifying glass)
6. Open the Sample Descriptive section and click on the red calendar icon next to the Delivery Date Field and select the month, day and year.
7. Open the Samples Results section and click on the last page or scroll down to the last set of parameter results. In the example below you will click on page 5 on the bottom of the screen (it can take a couple of seconds to refresh).
8. Enter the Temperature data
9. Click the approve button (yellow thumbs up icon). If you get a message like the one shown below just click Yes.
10. On the approval window you will be required to enter Notes. When ready click on the save button:.
11. The sample should now be approved.
12. Now go to the next Lot (sample) by clicking on the green arrow pointing to the right:.
13. Repeat steps 6-10 to enter the additional data and approve the second sample.
14. After approving a TSMC sample it can take from 5-10 min to generate the eRef and the CSV files.
15. Open the Americas COA retrieval URL link and enter the first Lot and click submit. Look for the records with Company Name=TSMC. There will be two files that you will need to download by clicking on the Download COA button. You can differentiate the files by looking at the end of the file name.
