How to Set-up An Export Template (Autotitrator)
You must have completed the steps to map to LIMS folder where the export files are planned to go. If this is not done yet, follow tutorial "How to Map a Network Drive (Autotitrator)" first.
1. Navigating to "Export Templates"
- Click on "Tools"
- Click on "Templates"
- Click on "Export templates"
2. Setting Up a New Export Template
- Click on "New"
- Type in Name "LIMS_V8_EXPORT"
- Type in Comments to document details "This export will send a CSV data file to LIMS Server for automated results import into LIMS"
- Click on button to select export directory (this is the mapped drive to LIMS folder)
- Click on the "Save In" drive down
- Select the lims export folder
- Click "Save"
- Click on "File Type" drop down
- Select "*.csv (Comma Separated)"
3. Selecting Fields to Export
- Click on "Select fields"
- Select the following fields in this exact order
- Click OK
4. Export Options
- Click on "Options"
- Click on the Filed Separator drop down
- Select "," (comma) as the field separator
- Click "OK"
5. Export File Name
- Click on "Sample identification" radio button
- Select "ID2" this is also the field for LIMS Sample ID
- Click "OK"
6. Test the Export Template by Exporting a File
- Select single or multiple samples for export (Hold Control button and click for multiple results)
- Click on "Determinations"
- Click on "Export"
- Verify that "All selected data records" is checked off for selection and "LIMS_V8_EXPORT" is selected for Export template
- Click "OK"
