How to import results for IPP samples

This will explain how to import results from Kester SQL server IPP views into IPP samples.

1. Search for sample

Every 30 min winLIMS checks all KES newly imported JDE work orders. If the Item code (SampleType) from these orders is associated with an IPP View, winLIMS will create an IPP sample automatically.

2. Enter manual entry results

3. Import IPP results

  1. Click the approve button.
  2. Click Yes on screen saying sample has not been validated to skip validation.
  3. Select "Import IPP results" fro the Status drop down menu.
  4. Click save button.
  5. The sample status will change to "IPP". This will trigger the import process.
  6. The import process can take up to 3 minutes to complete. Refresh the sample page using the binoculars.
  7. Once the sample status changes from IPP to B, C or V, the results have been imported into the sample parameters.

Results import process runs every 3 minutes from 1AM-11:59PM CT Daily

4. Approve sample

  1. Select Approved or any other status.
  2. Click save button
