How to Create a New Order
Orders help to organize samples associated with the same lot. When samples are sent to LIMS utilizing Work Order JDE interface, the order is automatically created, with all necessary information from JDE record. When samples need to be entered manually, you must first create an order and then add sample to that order.
1. Create a New Order
1.1. From Home Page
- Click to open Main Menu
- Click on "Sample Life Cycle"
- Click on "Orders"
- Click "Add new"
1.2. From Orders QBE page
- Click "Add New" button
2. Populate Required Fields
Fields with a yellow background are required prior to saving the order. If these are left blank, LIMS will not let you save the record and show an error.
