Identifying your Current Site Settings

If you are unable to log samples, or locate products in the system, there is a good chance that your site is set up incorrectly.  You can check your site setting in the top right corner of the screen as show above.

To change your site settings, goto "My Profile" located in the top Bar menu.

In the "My Profile" page, locate your site settings.

In this example, it is set to "All" which means that you cannot see any samples or sampletype templates that are specific to your site.  We will need to change this.

Click on the drop down menu, and select the correct site. In this case, it is ECIC.

Note: If you are in West Haven, you should select "WHC" flr your site. Many users will not be able to see both choices, but this is normal. Simply select the choice appropriate for your location:

WHC - West Haven, CT

ECIC - Taiwan

ASG - Alpha Singapore

ESG - Enthone Singapore

ETJ - Tianjin Singapore

Hit the save icon to save your changes to the site setting. This will set you to the correct site.

Note: In Singapore Alpha doublecheck to make sure that the Connection String is set to ConnectionStringAlpha

Now, you should be able to log in Data manually. Simply goto the:

Sample MAnager > Manual Sample Login menu

and login data as normal. You should be able to see all relavent sampletype templates and information now.

At any point, you can verify or double check what site setting you have by looking at the top right portion of the screen in the WinLIMS interface.
