Exporting Analytical Data to Excel
Analytical data kept in WinLIMS can be exported into excel for further analysis. There are multiple different reports created for various sites that can help you accomplish this task. This procedure will give a general overview of how to export data into excel format.
1. Report Output
NOTE: Formatting will looks different and might seem like not all information is available. When this is exported to excel you will have all the information you need.
2. Report Export
- To export into excel press on the export icon location in the left corner of the screen.
- Export Options window will allow you to select what format you would like to export the report into. Click on the drop down menu to select format
- Select "MS Excel 97-2000" Option. (NOTE: If selecting "MS Excel 97-2000 (Data Only)" the header and footer of the report will not be exported.
- Click "OK" button to export
3. Excel Export Window
- Report will be exported to excel
- Proceed with making any necessary format changes by changing column width and adding borders if necessary.
4. Saving Export File in Excel
Report must be saved in excel either to your desktop or a directory of your choice. If the report is not saved and found to be needed again you would have to follow steps 1-5 again to get the report.
