How to Unlock a User Account
Users are automatically locked out when they try to login 3 times using an incorrect password. Password recovery will not work when an account is locked out. User must report this to a LIMS administrator who can unlock their account. After an account is unlocked user can perform steps to recover their password.
1. Navigate to User Management
- Hover curser over "Application Configuration"
- Click on "Users"
2. Search for User Account
- Enter the name associated with user account
- Press Sherlock icon to search
You can perform the search using username, but if that is not known, try to search using last name, or first name, even part of the name can work.
3. Identify Lock-Out Tag
The Locked out checkbox will be selected for a user who is locked out
4. Unlock User Account
Click on the checkbox to uncheck it.
