How to Remove Parameters
Individual parameter can be removed from Manage Sample page. This is useful when you add a method, and unnecessary parameters are added as part of the method but need to be deleted. Also when customers are interested in specific parameters rather then the tests defined by the process code.
1. Find Sample
Follow steps described in the "How to Search in LMS" tutorial to search and drill down into the sample requiring method modifications.
2. Delete Parameter
Prior to deleting parameters make sure they are not used in a calculation. Calculations can be reviewed in the last column of the Sample Test grid.
- Expand Sample Results section
- Select the parameter for deletion by clicking on the checkbox next to its Result text box
- Click "X" button to delete
- Press OK to confirm
3. Save Changes
Press save button to save changes
