Sample Type Overview

Sample Type Manager refers to the Process Code set-up for Customer Analytical LIMS.  Process Code is a template for the solution being analyzed.  Best practice is to have generic Process codes, however when customers have unique requirements, customer specific process code can be configured.

When Process codes are generic, they can be used for many different customers, and having less process codes which are generic is easier to manage.

1. Access Roles

Sample Type Manager is open to the following roles:

  • Administrator
  • Laboratory Supervisor
  • Power User
  1. Click on Menu Button
  2. Click on Static Data
  3. Click on Sample Types
  1. Option to Add New Sample Type
  2. Two different search options (explained in separate tutorial)
