How to Add/Remove Tests: Sample Manager
Test methods can be added even when they're not part of the pre-defined process template. They can be added in Order manager to a group of samples at the same time, or individually in Sample manager.
1. Find Sample
Follow steps described in the "How to Search in LIMS" tutorial to search and drill down into the sample requiring method modifications.
2. Add New Test Method
- Expand the "Sample Tests" section
- Click on Add New
- Type Method Name
- When a match is found click on the checkbox next to method name to select: this will append the method into the text box below
- Follow steps again to add another method or press Submit to add
- Click OK to confirm
3. Remove a Test Method
- Click checkbox next to method you want to remove
- Click "X" button to delete
- Click OK to confirm (we do not use a batch runsheet function)
4. Save Changes
Click save button to capture your changes
