How to Add/Remove Methods: Order Manager
Test methods can be added or removed from order manager view. This is especially useful when trying to remove the same test method from multiple samples because it can be done in one action as opposed to opening each sample separately and removing/adding test method.
1. Find Order
Follow steps described in the "How to Search in Order Manager" tutorial to search and drill down into the order containing samples.
2. Add New Test Method
- Select samples to which append new methods by clicking checkbox next to sample ID. To select all samples click into the checkbox in the header.
- Click Add New Method button
- Begin to type method name
- Click checkbox next to the necessary method: this will append the selected method into the text box. Repeat steps 1-4 if you need to add more then one method
- Click Submit when all the methods are appended into the text box
Following steps above will add methods to all the selected samples.
3. Remove a Test Method
- Select all samples which need method(s) removed, by clicking checkbox next to sample ID. To select all samples click into the checkbox in the header.
- Click on Manage Common Tests button
- Select Method(s) you wish to delete by clicking the checkbox next to method name
- Click X button to delete
- Click OK to confirm (Note: we do not use batch runsheet function in customer analytical LIMS)
- The page will refresh and press "x" in the corner to close Manage Common Tests menu
4. Save Changes
Click button to save changes
