Company Manager Overview
Company Manager is used to track all the Company Profile records. Company Profile records require a unique Customer #, this value is from the ERP system that represents unique company "Ship-To" number. Company Profile contains, information about the company including: categorization, address, contact information.
In order for a company to be associated with sample record, status must be set to "Active" and class should be set to "C" otherwise it will not appear in the search view.
1. Access
Company Manager is open to the following roles:
- Administrator
- Power User
- Distribution List Manager
2. Navigation
- Click on Menu Button
- Click on Static Data
- Click on Companies
- Option to Add a New Company Profile
- Two different search options (explained in separate tutorial)
Users who do not have a permission to add new companies, will not see the choice for "Add New" instead they will see two choices directly from Static Data: "manage Companies" and "browse Companies"
