Customer Manager Overview

Customer Manager is used to track all the Customer Profile records.  Customer Profile records require a unique Customer #, this value is from the ERP system that represents unique company "Ship-To" number.  Customer Profile contains, information about the customer including: categorization, address, contact information.

In order for a customer to be associated with sample record, status must be set to "Active" and class should be set to either "C" or "D" otherwise it will not appear in the search view.

1. Access

Customer Manager is open to the following roles:

  • Administrator
  • Power User
  • Distribution List Manager
  1. Click on Menu Button
  2. Click on Static Data
  3. Click on Customers Manager
  1. Option to Add a New Customer Profile
  2. Two different search options (explained in separate tutorial)

Users who do not have a permission to add new customers, will not see the choice for "Add New" instead they will see two choices directly from Static Data: "manage Customers" and "browse Customers"
